When describing in what manner something is done or made, direct object is used:

  • yn dor my a vyn palas | tol may fo ynno cuthys | hay wul hyr ha doun ragtho
    Y'n dor my a vynn palas | toll may fo ynno kudhys | ha'y wul hir ha down ragdho.
    In the earth I will dig | A hole, that he may be covered in it; | And make it long and deep for him (OM865-7)
