1 En dalleth Deu grwes an neue ha an aor. Y'n dalleth Duw a wras an nev ha'n nor. In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
2 Ha thera an bez heb composter, ha heb kanifer tra; ha tuylder rag mêr a dounder, ha spiriz Deu reeg guaya var budgeth an dour. Ha yth era an bys heb komposter, ha heb keniver tra; ha tewlder [dhe]rag [...] an downder, ha spyrys Duw a wrug gwaya war vejeth an dowr. And the earth was without form, and void [(without any thing)]; and darkness [(was upon the face of the)] for much of deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the water[s].
3 Ha Deu laveraz, gwrens boz golou, ha thera golou. Ha Duw a lavaras, "Gwrens bos golow". Ha yth era golow. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
4 Ha Deu gwellas an golou, tho vo da, ha Deu debarris an golou vrt an tuylder. Ha Duw a welas an golow, yth o va da, ha Duw a dhibarthas an golow orth an tewlder. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
5 Ha Deu gwres an golou deth, ha an tuylder e gwres nôz, ha an gothihuar ha metten vo an kenza jorna. (Gw.MS: a for an) Ha Duw a grias an golow Dydh, ha'n tewlder ev a grias Nos, ha'n gorthugher ha myttin a veu an kensa jorna. And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
6 Ha Deu laveraz, gwrens boz ebron en kreis an dour, ha gwrens a debarra an dour (Gw.doar) vrt an dour. Ha Duw a lavaras, "Gwrens bos ebron yn kres an dowr, ha gwrens e diberth an dowr orth an dowr". And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.
7 Ha Deu gwras an ebron, ha debarras an dour era dadn an ebron, vrt an dour era var an ebron, ha vo an della. (Gw. has doar) Ha Duw a wras an ebron, ha a dhiberthas an dowr era 'dadn an ebron, orth an dowr era war an ebron, hag y feu yndella. And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.
8 Ha Deu kries an ebron neue, ha gethihuer ha metten vo nessa jorna. Ha Duw a grias an ebron nev, ha gorthugher ha myttin a veu [an] nessa jorna. And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.
9 Ha Deu laveraz, Gwrens an dour dadn an neue bos kontlez var bar do idn tellar, ha gwrens an teer zeth deskuethes, ha vo an della. Ha Duw a lavaras, "Gwrens an dowr 'dadn an nev bos kuntellys war-barth dhe udn tyller, ha gwrens an tir segh diskwedhes", hag y feu yndella. And God said, Let the water[s] under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.
10 Ha Deu kriez an teer zeth an aor, ha kentel (Borlase MS kontel) var bar an dour e kriez mor, ha Deu gwellas tro vo da. Ha Duw a grias an tir segh an Nor, ha kuntel war-barth an dowr ev a grias Mor, ha Duw a welas dr'o va da. And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.
11 Ha Deu laveraz, gwrens an aor dri meas gwelz, ha lushan dro meas hâz, ha gwethan dri meas ffrueth, var bar a haval, pe a eu eta vonnin var an aor, ha tho vo (Gw.MS: va) a della. Ha Duw a lavaras, "Gwrens an nor dri 'mes gwyls, ha losowen dri 'mes has, ha gwedhen dri 'mes frouth, war-barth y haval, piw yw et y honen war an nor, ha yth o va yndella. And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the [fruit] tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.
12 Ha an aor drez meas gwelz, ha lushan haz eta vonnin var ler a haval, ha gwethan drez meas frueth var bar a haval, ha Deu gwellas tro vo da. Ha an nor a dhros 'mes gwyls, ha losowen has et y honan war-lergh y haval, ha Duw a welas dr'o va da. And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, [whose seed was in itself], after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
13 Ha gethihuer ha metten o an tridga jorna (Bor.MS: deth). Ha gorthugher ha myttin o an treja jorna. And the evening and the morning were the third day.
14 Ha Deu laveraz, gwrens bos gullou en ebron neve do debarra deth vrt an noz, ha gwrens gi bos rag signezou, rag termen, ha rag dethiou ha blethaniou. Ha Duw a lavaras, "Gwrens bos golow y'n ebron nev dhe dhiberth dydh orth an nos, ha gwrens ji bos rag sinesow, rag termyn, ha rag dedhyow ha bledhynnyow." And God said, Let there be light[s] in the firmament of the heaven to divide [the] day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
15 Ha gwrens bos rag gullow en ebron neve do ro gullou var an aor, ha vo an della. "Ha gwrens bos rag golow y'n ebron nev dhe ri golow war an nor", ha y feu yndella. And let them be for light[s] in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
16 Ha Deu gwras deau gullow brôz, an broza rag an deth ha an behatna rag an noz, e gwras an sterradnou a veth. Ha Duw a wras dew wolow bras: an brassa rag an dydh ha'n bianna rag an nos; ev a wras an sterednow ynwedh. And God made two great lights; the greater [light] to [rule] the day, and the lesser [light] to [rule] the night: he made the stars also.
17 Ha Deu goras gi en ebron neve, do ri gullow var an Aor. Ha Duw a worras ji y'n ebron nev, dhe ri golow war an nor. And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,
18 Ha do moas dres an deth, ha an noz, ha do debarra an gullow urt an tuilder, ha Deu gwellas tho vo da. Ha dhe vos dres an jydh, ha'n nos, ha dhe dhiberth an golow orth an tewlder, ha Duw a welas yth o va da. And to rule over the day and [over] the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.
19 Ha gethiuar ha mettin o an padgurra jorna. Ha gorthugher ha myttin o an pajara jorna. And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.
20 Ha Deu laveraz, gwrens an dour dri meas meer an taklolaz guayans gen bounas, ha hethen rag neidga hual an aor, en ebron neve a lez. Ha Duw a lavaras, "Gwrens an dowr dri 'mes meur a daklow [...] gwayans gen bownans, hag ydhyn rag neyja [...] an nor, y'n ebron nev a-les. And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.
21 Ha Deu gwras an pusgaz broz, ha kanifer tra es guaya grêg an dour dri meer a meas var-ler ens haval, ha kanifer hethen gen azgran varler a haval, ha Deu gwellas tro vo da. Ha Duw a wras an puskes bras, ha keniver tra eus [ow] kwaya a wrug an dowr dri meur yn-mes war-lergh [aga] haval, ha keniver edhen gen eskern [(askel)] war-lergh y haval, ha Duw a welas dr'o va da. And God created great fish [(whales)], and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
22 Ha Deu rêg gi beniga laverans, betho lean gen haz, ha kressia ha lenal an dour en môr, ha gwrens an hethan kressia en aor. Ha Duw a wrug aga benyga, [ow leverel], "Bedhowgh leun gans has, ha kressya ha lenwel an dowr y'n mor, ha gwrens an ydhyn kressya y'n Nor". And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.
23 Ha gethihuer ha mettin o an pempas jorna. Ha gorthugher ha myttin o an pympes jorna. And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.
24 Ha Deu laveraz, gwrenz an aor dri meas an taklou ez dothan bounaz var a haval, chattoll ha taklou ens kramia, ha an mîl an aor var ler ans haval, ha tho vo an della. Ha Duw a lavaras, "Gwrens an Nor dri 'mes an taklow eus dhodhans bownans war y haval, chattel ha taklow [ow] kramya, ha mil an Nor war-lergh aga haval", ha ytho o va yndella. And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.
25 Ha Deu gwras an mîl an aor var ler a haval, ha kanifer tra es kramia var an aor var ler a haval, ha Deu guellas tho vo da. Ha Duw a wras mil an Nor war-lergh y haval, ha keniver tra [ow] kramya war an Nor war-lergh y haval, ha Duw a welas yth o va da. And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, [and cattle after their kind,] and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
26 Ha Deu laveras, gero ni guil dean an avain ni, var ler haval ni, ha gwrens govas pour dres poskas mor ha dres an hethan en ebron ha dres an chattoll, ha dres ol an aor, ha kanifer tra kramia es guaya var an aor. Ha Duw a lavaras, "Gerowgh ni gwul den a'n [...] ni, war-lergh haval ni, ha gwrens kavos power dres oll an Nor, ha keniver tra kramya eus [ow] kwaya war an Nor". And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27 Ha della Deu gwras dean en avain e vonnin, en avain Deu e gwas, gurrou ha benou gi ve gwras. Ha yndella Duw a wras den yn [...] y honan, yn [...] Duw y was, gorow ha benow ji a veu gwres. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
28 Ha Deu rêg gi benigia, ha Deu lavaras dothans, betho lean gen haz, ha kressia, ha lenal an aor, ha dova e, ha govas por dres an pusgaz en mor, ha hethan en Ebron, ha dres kanifer tra es bounas ha guayya var an aor. Ha Duw a wrug aga benygya, ha Duw a lavaras dhodhans, "Bedhowgh leun gans has, ha kressya, ha lenwel an Nor, ha dova e, ha kavos power dres an puskes y'n mor, ha ydhyn y'n ebron, ha dres keniver tra eus [dhodhans] bownans ha gwaya war an Nor. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
29 Ha Deu lavaras, Mero, ma res gennam do vy kanifer lushan gen haz, pe es var ol budgeth an aor, ha kanifer guethan menz es frueth guethan gen haz, do vy enz ra bos rag boaz. Ha Duw a lavaras, "Mirowgh, yma res genam dhe hwi keniver losowen gans has, [pe] eus war oll bejeth an Nor, ha keniver gwedhen, mens eus frouth gwedhen gans has; dhe hwi [ji] a wra bos rag boos. And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
30 Ha do ol mil en aor, ha do kanifer hethen en ebron, ha kanifer tra es guaya var an aor, menz bos bounas eta, ha ma res gennam kanifer lushan glaz rag boaz, ha tho vo an della. Ha dhe oll mil an Nor, ha dhe geniver edhen e'n ebron, ha keniver tra eus [ow] kwaya war an Nor, mens bos bownans ynno, ha yma res genam keniver losowen las rag boos". Ha yth o va yndella. And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.
31 Ha Deu gwelles kanifer tra vo gwres gen e vonnin, ha mero, tho vo perth da, ha gethihuar ha mettin ve an veffras jorna. Ha Duw a welas keniver tra a veu gwres gans y honan, ha mirowgh, yth o va pur dha. Ha gorthugher ha myttin a veu an hweghves jorna. And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
